Inspire the Next Generation of Innovators

A hands-on drone and robotics program where students build, code, and fly—while gaining real STEM skills.

What We Provide

We provide everything schools need to bring real STEM learning to life:

1

Drone Kit

Sustainable, durable, multi-year technology that's student-friendly and easy to build.

2

Curriculum

Standards-aligned, core content integration with step-by-step lessons, coding challenges, and flight missions.

3

Training

Live and virtual training and support for instructors, plus real-time help via Discord and live mentor access.

4

UMD Engineering Mentors

Near-peer instructors who inspire and guide students throughout their learning journey.

5

Flexible Delivery

Co-taught or teacher-led, in-class or after-school options to fit your school's specific needs.

What Makes Us Different

Engagement That Lasts

Students don't stop learning after the build. Our curriculum keeps them engaged with structured lessons, hands-on missions, and coding challenges that grow over time.

We Don't Skip the Hard Stuff

Our drone kits are age-appropriate, durable, and classroom-tested. Students build working drones and gain real engineering experience—while still meeting grade-level expectations.

Real Mentors, Real Role Models

University of Maryland engineering students mentor younger learners, creating a strong near-peer dynamic that improves engagement, confidence, and STEM identity.

Math and Science—Applied, Not Memorized

We use drones to make abstract concepts real. Students apply math, physics, and logic to fly more efficiently, code smarter, and solve real-world problems.

Smart, Grade-Tailored Curriculum

Our program adapts to different age groups with appropriate challenges:

Elementary

Basic coding, color sensors, safe flight principles, and foundational STEM concepts presented in an engaging, age-appropriate way.

Middle School

Advanced programming, multi-sensor projects, custom flight paths, and deeper exploration of physics, math, and engineering principles.

High School

Raspberry Pi integration, full autonomous programming, custom drone development, and preparation for higher-level STEM education and careers.

What Students Take Away

By the end of the program, students develop these critical skills:

1

Understand how systems work and how to solve problems with code

2

Apply math and science through real-world drone challenges

3

Learn to build, test, and debug functional robotics projects

4

Strengthen teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills

5

Gain confidence in their ability to succeed in STEM—now and in the future
